In the village is the State Institution “Republican Psychiatric Hospital of a Specialized Type with Intensive Monitoring”.
Population
In 1999, the village population was 1122 people (861 men and 261 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 378 people lived in the village (354 men and 24 women) [2] .
