F. M. Dostoevsky "Idiot":
... a woman of extraordinary beauty ... in a black silk dress, of an extremely simple and elegant style, her hair, apparently dark-brown, was removed simply, at home; eyes dark, deep, brooding forehead; a passionate and arrogant expression. She was a bit thin, perhaps pale.
Biography
At the age of seven, she lost her parents; since then she was brought up on the estate of Athanasius Ivanovich Totsky. When Nastasya Filippovna was sixteen years old, he made her his homemaker. Realizing her position, the girl became obsessed with hatred and contempt for her "benefactor" and for herself. When Prince Myshkin first proposed that she marry him, she refused and left with Rogozhin because she felt defiled and unworthy of the love of a noble man. She was killed by Rogozhin.
Image
In the novel, Nastasya Filippovna is presented as a proud, intelligent, noble woman, but completely crazy at the same time. The image of this woman is an earthly embodiment of beauty that has not found itself in life.
