The Institute of Finland in St. Petersburg is a Finnish cultural and scientific center in St. Petersburg , founded in 1992. The Institute of Finland organizes exhibitions, concerts, seminars and other events, supports Finnish language teachers and organizes seminars for translators of Finnish literature. The activities of the Institute of Finland in St. Petersburg are supported by the Finnish St. Petersburg Foundation . The founders of the fund were, in particular, the Finnish state, major cities, Finnish cultural, scientific and economic organizations. The Chairman of the Board of the St. Petersburg Foundation is Juhani Leppya , and the Fund’s delegation is headed by the Executive Director of the Finnish Industry Office East Office, Raimo Valo .
