It is part of the Gorodishchensky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Kosmarevsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Nyuksenitsa by road is 43 km, to the center of the municipal formation of Horodyshny in a straight line - 3 km. The nearest settlements are Matveevskaya , Zhar , Bor , Lopatino , Bykovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 27 people (16 men, 11 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
