It is part of the Gorodishchensky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Brusnovolovsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - the Brusnovolovsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Nyuksenitsy by road is 58 km, to the center of the municipal formation of Horodyshny in a straight line - 16 km. The nearest settlements are Verkhovye , Surovtsevo , Brusnovolovsky Pogost .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 35 people (18 men, 17 women). The entire population is Russian [3] .
