It is part of the Gorodishchensky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Kosmarevsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Nyuksenitsa by road is 40.5 km, to the center of the municipal formation of Gorodishchny in a straight line - 1.8 km. The nearest settlements are Horodyshna , Zhar , Shulgino , Kozlovo , Lopatino , Nizhnyaya Gorka , Bykovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 107 people (51 men, 56 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (99%) [2] .
