Career

At the World Cup in 1937 in Chamonix was the 4th in the relay. At the World Championship in 1939 in Zakopane participated in two races. In the race for 50 km, showing the time 2: 57.43, he took the sixth place, losing more than 11 minutes to the winner Norwegian Lars Bergendal . In the relay race together with Karl Palin , Selm Stenvall and Young Westberg won silver, a little more than a minute, losing to the victorious Finns and almost 4 minutes beating the third Italians .
