Biography
Member of the Civil War and the suppression of the Kronstadt uprising (1921). Member of the RCP (b) since 1920 . Since 1922 he was at the teaching job. He graduated from the historical department of the Military Pedagogical School in Petrograd (1923) and the philosophical department of the Institute of Red Professors (1931). In the 1930s he taught Marxism-Leninism at the educational institutions of the Red Army and the Leningrad branch of the Communist Academy .
In 1940 he was elected dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of Leningrad State University , from where in 1941 he went to the people's militia. [1] After World War II, he headed the Department of Philosophy of the Military Medical Academy and the Department of the History of Philosophy of Leningrad State University . Doctor of Philosophy (1946), Professor (1948). Since 1963 - a senior researcher at the Leningrad Department of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, later head of the department.
He was the editor of the philosophical series “Vestnik LSU”, a member of the editorial boards of the journals “ Questions of Philosophy ” and “ Scientific reports of higher education.
