"Aktobe Azhary" ( kaz. Aktobe azhary - the beauty of Aktobe ) is a residential complex located in the 11th microdistrict of Aktobe . It consists of three high-rises (126 apartments in each [1] ) and nearby buildings that make up the infrastructure of the complex. The building company is Lashyn Invest Holding LLP .

Construction Progress
The plan of the future complex was first shown to the Aktobe authorities in 2005. A gas station located at the site of future construction was relocated to another location in record time [1] .
According to the assurances of the developer, the complex of three 25-story buildings was to become a visiting card and a landmark of the city. However, despite the fact that 70% of future apartments have already been bought out by equity holders , the construction process has dragged on. Of the three main buildings of the complex, the construction of which was to be completed in 2007, by 2010 only the first building was completely completed. In order to speed up the pace of construction, the city of Aktobe as a communal property bought for 400 million tenge (2.7 million US dollars [2] ) 4,000 m² from the part of the complex intended for commerce.
In 2009, about 200 out of 500 workers involved in the construction of the complex, to whom the contractor owed wages, announced plans to start a hunger strike if they were not paid in full. Earlier, a real estate developer was sentenced by a court decision to pay a debt of 15 million tenge (125 thousand US dollars) [3] .
In 2010, it became known that Kazkommertsbank agreed to allocate 300 million tenge ($ 2 million) for the completion of the second high-rise complex. For the construction of the third tower, the bank planned to allocate 900 million tenge [4] (6 million US dollars).
In 2011, Akim of Aktobe Nurmukhambet Abdibekov said that the construction of the third and most recent block section should be completed in July 2012 [5] . Ultimately, the residential complex was completed in October 2013 [6] - 8 years after the presentation of the project and 6 years after the announced deadline for commissioning.
