Tegistic ( Kazakh. Tegіstіk ) - a village in the Rayymbek district of Almaty region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Tegistic rural district. It is located about 63 km east-southeast (ESE) from the village of Kegen , the administrative center of the region, at an altitude of 1799 meters above sea level [1] . The KATO code is 195867100 [2] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 1,435 people (717 men and 718 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 1,493 people lived in the village (752 men and 741 women) [3] .
