Chess Challengers Tournament 1967

• T. Zatulovskaya , A. Kushnir (admitted following the results of the Candidates' Tournament 1964);
• N. Alexandria , A. Kislova , V. Kozlovskaya (based on the results of the 26th USSR Championship; at the same time the FIDE zone tournament);
• the rest are admitted following the results of other FIDE zonal tournaments.

After the 1st half of the competition T. Stadler was in the lead (8 points out of 9), but, losing in the 14th round, A. Kushnir , not only lost the lead, but also did not get into the top three winners. The winner of the tournament was Kushnir - 13½ points; 2-3 places were shared by T. Zatulovskaya and V. Kozlovskaya - 12½ points each.
