Zagorje is a village in the Onufrievsky rural settlement of Istra district of the Moscow region . The population is 29 [1] people. (2010). The village is connected with Istria by bus (bus number 26) [2] . In the village there is the chapel of Sergius of Radonezh [3] , built in 1904 on the site of the abolished church of the XVIII century (built at the expense of the peasant E.P. Sorokin) [4] .

It is located 30 km southwest of Istra , in the interfluve of Malaya Istra and its tributary Neguch [5] , the height above sea level is 214 m [6] . The nearest settlements in the south - Bochkino and Ulievo - about 2 km.
It has been known since 1624, when the village of Zagorye, Esipova, too, belonged to some I.I. Gorodchikov, A.I. Viselitsyn and N.V. Kudaev, from 1678 to Obernisov, from 1706, with interruptions, to Tulubyev. In 1715-1716, a wooden church was built in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh, burned out by a lightning strike in the second half of the 18th century, on the site of which a chapel was built [7] .
