Content
Story
Two Turkish policemen from the anti-terrorist department are sent to New York in order to find and return to Turkey the Islamist leader of the terrorist cell, who had previously been arrested by the FBI . The film focuses on the growth of Islamophobia in Turkey and the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States , looking for the answer to the question: is it guilty or not, even if you feel a desire for revenge on this person [1] .

Criticism
A review survey of the Rotten Tomatoes website showed that 36% of the audience, rated 2.9 out of 5, gave a positive review of the film. [2] .

The script for the film Makhsun Kirmizigyul wrote 11 years before the start of production of the film. The film was shot in New York ( USA ), Istanbul and Bitlis ( Turkey ) during the period April – June 2010 [3] [4] .
