Sherstobitov, Evgeny Pavlovich

Evgeny Pavlovich Sherstobitov ^[1] was born on September 24, 1938 in the village of Kostarevo, Birsk district, BASSR. Secondary education.

He began his career in 1956 as a helmsman in the Belsky River Shipping Company. After serving in the ranks of the Soviet Army in 1957-1960. He graduated from the Ufa Technical School No. 1. Since 1961, he worked at the Ufa Synthetic Alcohol Plant.

E.P.Sherstobitov in a short time mastered the specialty of a pyro-gas compressor engineer at the most critical area in the production of ethyl alcohol. The brigade where EP Sherstobitov worked was the first among the technological brigades to fulfill the task of four years in the tenth five-year plan (1976-1980) ahead of schedule, and worked out over 120 thousand rubles production over the plan.

E.P.Sherstobitov was one of the best innovators of the plant. During the years of the tenth five-year period he made 18 rationalization proposals with an economic effect of 10 thousand rubles. Contributed to the early development of new production facilities and overlapping design indicators. So, after improvement, reconstruction and excellent maintenance of the pyrolysis unit, its productivity reached 82 thousand tons with a design capacity of 75 thousand tons of ethylene per year. Due to this, in 1976-1979. products were produced in excess of the design level plan for 2.8 million rubles.

For outstanding merit in fulfilling the tasks of four years of the tenth five-year period, achieving the highest performance indicators and fulfilling socialist obligations for the extra-planned production of petrochemical products, by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 13, 1980, E. P. Sherstobitov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor .

Prior to retirement in 1999, he worked as a senior engineer of compressor units at the Ufa Synthetic Alcohol Plant.

Lives in Ufa.
