Biography
In 1927 he graduated from the Kharkov Agricultural Institute . In 1927-1930 - worked as an agronomist in the Poltava region .
In 1930-1933 - served in the ranks of the Red Army.
In 1933-1935 - an employee of the Research Institute of collective farm construction. In 1935-1941 He worked in the land department of the Kiev Regional Executive Committee.
Member of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). [one]
From 1945 - on the party work. In 1945-1951 - deputy head, then head of the Agricultural Department of the Kiev Regional Committee of the CP (b) of Ukraine .
In 1951-1954 - 1st Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kiev Regional Council.
In 1954–1960 he worked as the first secretary of the Cherkassy Regional Committee of the Ukrainian Communist Party .
In 1954-1971 - a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
In 1960-1963 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR.
In 1963-1964 - 1st Secretary of the Kharkov Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
In 1964-1967 - 1st Secretary of the Sumy Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
In 1967-1978 - Chairman of the State Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR for the Conservation of Nature.
He was elected a deputy to the Supreme Soviet of the 4th and 5th convocations and a deputy to the 6th Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR (1963–1967).
He was buried in Kiev at the Baikov Cemetery .
