Turkish passport

Passport of a Turkish citizen ( Turkish : Türk Pasaportu ) is an official document proving the identity of a Turkish citizen when traveling abroad and staying outside the country, as well as when entering Turkey from a trip abroad. Introduced in June 2010. Its validity is ten years. Issued by the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs .

Appearance

The passport is red in color, with the inscription ( tour. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ) “Turkey” and ( tour. Pasaport ) “Passport” in Turkish and English. In the center, a star and a crescent are applied with gold stamping , as on the national flag of the country . The passport is made in Turkish and English. The size of the passport is 88 × 125 mm.
