Komsomolsky is a microdistrict of the city of Skopin, Ryazan Region , located 14 kilometers south-west of it. The population is 640 people [1] .

Content
History
It originated as a mining settlement in 1932 . In different years, within the precincts of the settlement and its surroundings, the mines of the Moscow coal basin were located - No. 1 (Northern), 6, 44, 45, 46, 48 and others. On the last Sunday of August 2002, the village celebrated its 70th anniversary [2] . Since 2004 - the microdistrict of the city of Skopin [3] .
Geographical position
The neighborhood is located south-west of Skopin and is surrounded by settlements of the Skopinsky district . Two kilometers to the north is the village of Pupki , to the east (3 km) - the village of Sekirino , to the south (3.5 km) - the former village of Kochugurki, to the south-west (4.5 km) - the village of Knyazevo , to the west (3 km) - villages Petrushino and Velem'ya .
