Biography
In 1842 he entered the Moscow Palace Architectural School ; He graduated in 1855 with the title of Architectural Assistant and the rank of College Registrar . In 1857-1875 he served in Arkhangelsk as an architect of the Arkhangelsk State Treasury. In Arkhangelsk he conducted an active architectural and construction practice. In 1858, Pevnitsky completed the design (draft) of the icon case for the cross of Peter I, for which he was awarded the highest appreciation by Alexander II . In 1861 he was promoted to titular counselor and appointed architect of the court department. He moved to Moscow and in April 1875 was appointed architect of the Moscow Technical School . In January 1877 he was appointed City Precinct Architect. For two years, he combined the service as a district architect with the work of an architect at the Moscow Technical School at the state. In 1878 he was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav III degree . Since 1880 - the district architect of the Pyatnitsky part of Moscow ( Zamoskvorechye ). He died on February 18, 1887 [1] [2] .
