Valery Alexandrovich Sakhno ( March 9, 1939 - April 4, 2013 ) - Soviet and Ukrainian metallurgist, ex-director of the Azovstal Iron and Steel Works ( Mariupol city).

In 1957 he graduated from the Zhdanov Metallurgical Institute . After his graduation, he worked at the Azovstal plant, and since the late 1980s, he has been the chief engineer of Azovstal. In 1996-1998 - Director of the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant . From 1998 to 2002 - Director of the Azovstal Metallurgical Combine.
