Christian Hirte (* May 23, 1976 , Bad Salzungen , Thuringia ), German politician, member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). Since 2008 he is a deputy of the German Bundestag .
Life and career
After completing secondary education in 1994, Hirte completed compulsory military service. In 1995 he entered the University. Friedrich Schiller in Jena and studied law, in 2001 he graduated from it, having received a law degree and passed the first state exam. During his studies from 1997 to 2001, he was a scholar of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation . In 2003, he passed the second state exam as a referendum, i.e. candidate for a position in the public service. Since 2004, he worked as a lawyer. In 2006 and 2007, he worked as a professor of economic law at the University of Fulda. In 2010, he received the status of a lawyer specializing in tax law. In 1993, Hirte joined the German Youth Union and from 1999 to 2005 was chairman of the Wartburg County Youth Union. From 2003-2007, he was first deputy chairman of the Youth Union of the Federal State of Thuringia, and from 2007 to 2009 he was his treasurer. In 1995, Hirte joined the CDU, since 1999 he was a member of the CDU Bad Salzungen (Bad Salzungen), and since 2005 chairman of the CDU Bad Salzungen-Leimbach (Bad-Salzungen-Leimbach). Since 2008, Hirte has been a member of the German Bundestag. In his hometown of Bad Salzungen Hirt from 2004 to 2009 he was a member of the city council. Since 2009, he has been a member of the Wartburg County Council and the Tiefenort Community.
During the 2009 parliamentary elections, Hirte won the federal district Eisenach-Wartburg-Unstrut-Hainich, District II, and received a direct mandate from the CDU.
