Construction
For the construction of the railcar, the body of a rigid all-metal car manufactured in 1952–53, motor carts and frontal parts of the head cars of the ER1 series electric train were used. The gearbox (gear ratio 73:23) and the wheelset of the motor car were also saved. In the middle part of the body was installed a V ‑ shaped 4 ‑ stroke 12 ‑ cylinder diesel engine 1D12 with a capacity of 300 liters. with. The diesel engine spun the anchor of the 195 kW MPT-49 / 25-3 generator. A generator PN-28/5 with a capacity of 1.72 kW was used as a pathogen. From the traction generator, the traction motors DK-104G installed on the trolley frame were powered. The following equipment was used: TKV-1 compressor, diesel water cooling fans driven by asynchronous AC-32-4 electric motors (powered by a three-phase generator) and a 6STE-140M rechargeable battery.
