Content
Construction and French Service
It was built in Saint-Malo as the corsair of Le Prince de Conti , according to the project of Guinace ( French Guignace ), from April to October 1773 .
In September 1777, purchased by the French fleet, renamed Pallas , classified as a 32-gun frigate. As usual, there were a few more similar British frigates armed with a 9-pound main battery. He participated in the American Revolutionary War . June 19, 1778 in the Canal captured by the Keppel fleet. British Service
