Vitaliy Grigorievich Suvernev - Soviet and Russian scientist, professor, who worked in the field of aerodynamics and the strength of aircraft structures. Head of SibNIA them. S. A. Chaplygin (1959-1989), Scientific Secretary of the Institute (1989-2000). Winner of the USSR State Prize "for the scientific and technical management of the development and implementation of a unique testing complex that has no analogues in domestic practice" (1969) [1] . In 2006, the administration of Novosibirsk decided to establish a memorial plaque at building No. 45 on Chaplygin Street , in which V. G. Suvernev lived. [2]
