Ormyrus ermolenkoi (lat.) Is a type of parasitic horsemen of the genus Ormyrus from the family Ormyridae . Kuril Islands . Length 6.0–6.4 mm (the largest species of the genus at the time of description). Golden-green metallic shiny chalcidoid . The thighs are reddish brown. Antennae of males and females identical, consist of 8-segmented flagellum (3-segmented mace). Anterior margin of clypeus straight. The mandibles are two-pronged. Associated with plants of the genus Quercus . The species is named in honor of the Ukrainian hymenopterologist Valery Mikhailovich Yermolenko (1920–2006), who assembled a type series [1] .
