Justification of Symbols
The composition of the coat of arms in the language of symbols and allegories clearly reflects the history of the name of the settlement.
For the first time, the “Krivandin Pogost” was mentioned at the end of the 15th-16th centuries.
Among the local population, there are two common versions of the origin of the name:
- according to the first Krivandino comes from the non-canonical name (nickname) of Krivand, Krivandin is crooked. This is due to the fact that the village of Krivandino, the center of the Krivandinsky rural settlement, has been standing for centuries on the winding (crooked) banks of the Poly River, depicted by a silver winding ribbon.
- There is another local pronunciation of the name - Krivaldino. In ancient times, the boat was called - Aldia. In this regard, a version emerged according to which the name suggests that the village is on a “crooked rook path” along the Pole River. There is a hypothesis that here between the rivers Poley and Tsna there was one of the draggers, shown by a boat being rolled on skating rinks connecting important trade routes - the Klyazmu and Oka rivers.
The green field and the azure tip repeat the basic colors of the coat of arms of the Shatursky municipal district as a sign of the belonging of the rural settlement of Krivandinskoye to the Shatursky land.
Green color is a symbol of nature, health, youth, life growth.
Blue color (light blue ) is a symbol of honor, devotion, truth, virtue and clear sky.
Gold is a symbol of harvest, wealth, stability, respect and intelligence
Silver is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and mutual understanding.
