Yashalta rural municipality is a rural settlement in the Yashalt district of Kalmykia . The administrative center and the only settlement within the settlement is the village of Yashalta [2] .

Geography
The settlement is located in the western part of the Yashalta district of Kalmykia and borders [3] :
- in the south - with Ulyanovsk ,
- in the southeast - with Berezovsky ,
- in the east and north - with Manychsky SMO ,
- in the west - with the Salsky district of the Rostov region .
The modern boundaries of the QS are established by the Law of the Republic of Kalmykia dated June 06, 2002 No. 209-II-Z [2] .
