Emblem Description
“In a four-part shield, the 1st and 4th parts of which are azure, the 2nd and 3rd are silver, the azure eight-radiant polar star . In the first part there are seven silver arched Yakut diamonds (figures in the form of squares placed at an angle, each of which is dissolved into six parts: crosswise and like two rafters converging on the sides). ”
Emblem Symbolism Description
The North Star is a symbol of the beauty and eternity of the North and the purity of the soul of the peoples inhabiting the northern region.
Diamonds are a symbol of the wealth of the people.
Azure is a symbol of honor, glory, devotion, beauty, truth and virtue and clear sky. Also means the water resources of the area: the Laptev Sea and the Lena River.
Silver speaks of boundless northern expanses.
Diamonds in a special stylization similar to their stylization in the State Emblem of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) denote the administrative-territorial affiliation of the municipality to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
