It is located 23 kilometers southwest of the city of Konakovo , located between the federal highway "Moscow - St. Petersburg" and the Doibitsa River. From the M10 highway to Mokshino, the road leaves to the Zavidovo Group of Companies .
The village has 12 streets, about 200 houses. The population according to the 2002 census is 2258 people, 1015 men, 1243 women.
History
In 1959, the construction of the Zavidovskaya poultry farm began near the village of Mokshino, Teshilovsky village council, Zavidovsky district, Kalinin region . Well-maintained houses for poultry workers have been built near the old village, on Moskovskoye Shosse. There was a dining room, a shop, a bathhouse, a hairdresser's, and a daycare center. In 1964, a high school was built. In 1968 - the House of Culture, a feldsher-obstetric center with dental and physiotherapy rooms, a grocery store, a comprehensive reception center for consumer services, and a liaison office with an automatic telephone exchange. In the village, the poultry farm carried out gas, water supply, sewage and heating mains for the villagers. In 1970, a park was laid and an obelisk for fallen soldiers of the countrymen was installed.
In the late 2010s, 3 blocks of multi-storey buildings of Zavidovo residential complex were built [2]
