Biography
Sharif Khabibullinovich Sultanov was born on August 9, 1913 in the village of Karacha-Yelga (now Kushnarenkovsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan). Education - secondary.
Sharif Khabibullovich began to work in 1928 on the Kumyak collective farm in the Toporninsky (now Kushnarenkovsky) district. In 1933-1934 - Director of the agricultural youth station Toporninsky district committee of the Komsomol.
In 1935-1937 served in the ranks of the Red Army. In 1937-1938 - Head of the special unit of the Kushnarenkovsky District Council of Workers' Deputies, in 1938-1942. - assistant to the chief, chief of the 2nd part of the Kushnarenkovsky district military enlistment office. In 1942-1943 he participated in the Great Patriotic War. In 1943-1946 worked as head of the department of state support of the executive committee of the Kushnarenkovsky district council, in 1946-1957. - Head of the department of social security of the region. In 1957 - Chairman of the Salavat collective farm in the Kushnarenkovsky district.
Gross grain production in 1965 on a collective farm headed by Sh. X. Sultanov increased by 3 times compared to 1957, potatoes - 4 times, the number of cattle - 5 times, pigs - 2.5 times , sheep - 1.9 times. Grain sales during this period increased 6.6 times, potatoes - 40 times, meat - 4.6 times, milk - 3.3 times, eggs - 50 times, wool - 4 times. The average grain yield in 1965 was 14.5 centners, sugar beets - 131 centners, potatoes - 135 centners. The collective farm’s cash income in 1965 amounted to 790.6 thousand rubles, compared with 1957 it increased by 10 times.
In 1965, 1,994 kilograms of milk were fed from each cow, 143 eggs were obtained from laying hens, and 2.3 kilograms of wool were cut from one sheep.
During his work, the chairman on the collective farm built a village club, a Culture House for 380 people, a local hospital for 25 beds, 5 cowsheds, 2 pigsties, 4 calf houses, and poultry houses for 7,000 chickens.
For the successes achieved in the development of animal husbandry, an increase in the production and procurement of meat, milk, eggs, wool and other products by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 22, 1966, Sh. Kh. Sultanov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
He headed the collective farm named after Salavat of the Kushnarenkovsky district until his retirement in 1975.
Honorary Citizen of Kushnarenkovsky District (1987). He died on May 10, 1998.

Memory

One of the streets in the village of Sharipovo of the Kushnarenkovsky district of the Republic of Belarus is named after the hero.
