Karagayly ( Kazakh. Karagayly , until 1992 - Chapaevo) - a microdistrict in the Nauryzbay district of Almaty , Kazakhstan . Former administrative center of the Karagayli rural district of the Karasai district of Almaty region . The KATO code is 195243100 [1] .

Population

In 1999, the population of the village was 5,606 people (2,764 men and 2,842 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 9643 people (4697 men and 4946 women) lived in the village [2] .

Village Liquidation

In August 2014, the village was transferred to the Nauryzbay district of Alma-Ata .
