Biography
Orthodox. From the hereditary nobles of the Tambov province. Landowner of Borisoglebsk district (800 dessiatines ).
He graduated from the 3rd military gymnasium (1880) and the Alexander Military School (1882), graduated as a cornet in the Sumy 1st Hussar Regiment .
He went to the regiment all the posts until the commander of the 2nd squadron and went into reserve with the rank of captain in 1890.
Having left the reserve, he served as the zemstvo chief in Borisoglebsky district (1891-1892). He was elected the vowel of the Borisoglebsk district and Tambov provincial assemblies (since 1891), an honorary magistrate (since 1891) and the Borisoglebsk district leader of the nobility (1896-1917). He rose to the rank of State Councilor (1905). He was an honorary trustee of the Borisoglebsk Alexander School. He was a candidate member of the State Council from the Tambov Provincial Zemstvo. He was a member of the October 17 Union .
In 1912 he was elected a member of the State Duma from the Tambov province by a congress of landowners. He was a member of the Octobrist faction, after its split - into the group of Zemstvo-Octobrists. Entered the Progressive block . He was a member of the commissions: judicial reform, editorial and land.
Fate after 1917 is unknown. He was married, had a daughter.
