Alberto Azzo I ( German: Alberto Azzo ; d. 1029 ) - Count of Looney, Tortona, Genoa and Milan since 1014. The son of Oberto II and Rilenda, widow of Count Seprio Siegfried. Representative of the genus Obertengi (Adalbertins).

First mentioned in historical documents in 1011. In 1014, after the death of his father, he inherited the counties of Looney, Torton, Genoa and Milan.

Alberto Azzo and his brothers Hugo, Adalberto IV and Obizzo claimed the title of Margrave. Their sister Berta married Arduin Italian of the Anskarids, another sister - Manfred II of Turins .

Alberto Azzo was married to Adelaide, a relative of Lanfranc, Count of Ozia. At first, the brothers supported their brother-in-law Arduin in his struggle against Emperor Henry II . In 1022 they were captured and submitted to Henry II.

After the death of Alberto Azzo I, his son inherited his possession - Alberto Azzo II .
