Biography
Born January 23, 1835 in the village. Terenga of the Sengiley county of Simbirsk province .
He graduated from the Kazan Theological Academy (1862) and was appointed a teacher at the Kazan Theological Seminary .
In 1863 he was transferred to the Kazan Theological Academy to the department of anti-Muslim subjects with the assignment of the title of bachelor.
In 1869 he was ordained a priest of the Epiphany Church of Kazan with the preservation of the post of professor, since 1880 - archpriest , since 1886 - archpriest of the Cathedral of the Annunciation Cathedral .
In 1875 he founded a private missionary shelter in Kazan.
Founding member of the Brotherhood of St. Guria (1867), in 1869-1875 - member of its Translation Commission.
In 1883-1895, Malov was the editor of the journal Izvestia on the Kazan Diocese.
In Kazan, Malov lived with his family in his own house - in the Academic Sloboda , house number 11 on the street. 2nd Academic (modern Zinina St.). Here in 1880, a son Sergei was born in the family of Evfimiy Alexandrovich, who later became a prominent scientist.
He died on February 25, 1918 in Kazan, was buried in the Arskoye cemetery of the city. [one]

- Order of St. Anne of the 1st and 2nd degrees,
- Order of St. Vladimir 3rd and 4th degree,
- received a silver medal in memory of the Russo-Turkish War of 1881-1884,
- He was awarded the Red Cross badge for participating in raising money for the needs of sick and wounded soldiers.
