Club career
In 1997, Ferreira made his debut for the Expreso Rojo second division team. In 1999, he moved to Real Cartagena , but never played a match for the team. In 2000, David moved to " America ." In his first season, he won the Mustang Cup . Ferreira repeated this achievement twice more in 2001 and 2002. In the team, David spent five seasons, taking part in 217 matches and scoring 28 goals, as well as becoming a national team player.
In 2005, David moved to the Brazilian Atletico Paranaance . July 3 in the match against Brasiliense , he made his debut in the Brazilian championship . In 2008, Ferreira, on loan, stood up for Al-Shabab from Dubai , with whom he won the UAE championship .
In 2009, Ferreira on loan moved to the US " Dallas ". March 22 in the match against the “ Chicago Fire ”, he made his debut in the MLS [1] . On October 8, David scored the first goal for the new club and helped his team win the fight against San Jose Earthquakes [2] . International Career
January 31, 2001 in a friendly match against Mexico team Ferreira made his debut for the national team of Colombia . In the same year, David got into the national team's bid to participate in the America's Cup . At the tournament, he took part in a match against the Venezuelan national team and won gold medals. In 2004, he went to the America's Cup for the second time, this time Ferreira played three matches, and his team became the fourth. In 2007, David took part in the America's Cup for the third time, as he had played three games the previous time.
Personal life
