Story
There is a storm in Springfield , and the Simpsons are waiting for it, playing a board game . Suddenly Lisa notices a tornado that blows Santa's Little Helper . Leaving the children, Marge and Homer, with the help of Lenny and Karl, go to save the dog. They manage to do this, but Homer and Marge find themselves under the fallen bank building. They are being released, but Marge is still concerned about the fact that the children do not have good guardians. Spouses question Abe , Patty and Selma , Gerba Powell (who, for some unknown reason, became poor again), Kirk and Luan Van Houten , and Cletus and Brandina Spuckler , but doubt them. Soon, rumors of a guardian search were spreading throughout the city, and no one wanted to help Homer and Marge.
Spouses do not give up and are looking for guardians near the coastline. Finally, they spot Mav, a professional surfer , and his wife, Porsche, a lawyer. Bart and Lisa immediately liked Mev and Porsche, and therefore the latter agree to be the guardians of the children for the weekend. Homer and Marge spend several weeks together. And here Marge sees a family photo of Mev, Porsche and children, and realizes that the guardians want to make the children members of their family. Homer and Marge head to the guardians' house. Mav and Porscha, having learned about their intentions, refuse to return the children, but they say that they like to live with their parents and stay in their home.

Critical / Public Relations
The episode was watched by 5.23 million people aged 18-49, and it received a rating of 2.3. This episode was the second most watched on FOX on a Sunday night (the first was Family Guy , The Giggity Wife ) [1] .
The episode received mixed reviews from television critics. For example, Robert David Sullivan of The AV Club, giving the episode a C rating, said: “This episode consists of three parts: a comic presentation of a natural disaster; a hackneyed story, like in sitcoms, where many secondary characters appear, and a small passage in which the “guest star of the week” rejects the family. ” He also noted: “Everything happens so quickly that there is no sadness, no tension, no joy, no laughter” [2] .
