Club career

Bedoya began his career in 1995 at the Deportivo Pereira Club. In his second season, he became a footballer of the basic composition and after his graduation he moved to Deportivo Cali , with whom he won the Mustang Cup in 1998. He played over 100 matches for Cali and scored 5 goals.

In 2001, he signed a contract with the Argentine Racing . August 28 in the match against Rosario Central , he made his debut in the Argentine Example . On September 30, in a duel against San Lorenzo , Bedoya scored the first goal for a new team. In the same year, he won the Aperture 2001 as part of Racing.

In 2003, Gerardo returned to Deportivo, where he finished playing until the end of the season. In early 2004, he signed a contract with the Argentine " Colon ". February 13 in a duel against his former team "Racing" he made his debut for the new club.

According to the results of the competition, he became a silver medalist.

In 2001, as part of the national team, he became the winner of the America's Cup .
