Portland-Troutdale Airport ( IATA : TTD , ICAO : KTTD , FAA LID : TTD ) is a functioning civilian airport located 10 nautical miles (18.5 km) east of Portland's Central Business District in Multnomah County, Oregon, USA. [2] Also known as Troutdale Airport, it is located in the village of Troutdale . It is one of four airports in Portland City County and is operated by Portland Port. [3]

The airport was acquired by Portland Port in 1942 and until the 1950s served as an auxiliary for the nearest Portland International Airport. Trautdale Airport serves as a place for full-time permanent deployment of commercial air carriers, limited to several air carriers; a flight school and technical facilities for repair and maintenance of aircraft are assigned to it. It is also a popular destination for scenic air tours over the Columbia River Gorge Canyon and entertaining flights. [3]
