Biography
Midhat Gabdraupovich Hafizov was born on June 26, 1933 in the village. Kyrgyzstan-Miyaki of the modern Miyakinsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. At the end of the decade in 1949 he arrived in the city of Chernikovka , went to study at the school of masters and workers of leading professions at the Novo-Ufa plant under construction. Got a specialty operator.
Being drafted into the army, Hafizov studied at accelerated courses for reserve officers (1954-1957). He received a military specialty "a mechanic-technician in artillery and bomber weapons." He served in the Central Group of Forces, on the territory of the Republic of Hungary, in the city of Debrecen. In August 1957, he was prematurely transferred to the reserve in connection with the call of the Ufa Petroleum Institute to continue interrupted studies.
In 1976 he graduated from the Ufa Petroleum Institute .
He began his career in 1953 as an understudy operator, then, after graduating from a school of masters and workers in leading professions, he worked as an operator of the Novo-Ufa Oil Refinery. After demobilization from the army, he returned to the Novo-Ufa oil refinery, worked as an operator, a senior operator of the shop No. 22 of the oil unit of the plant. In 1967-1968 provided technical assistance in the construction, commissioning and development of benzene production at the Burgas Petrochemical Plant in Bulgaria. [one]
M. G. Khafizov submitted and introduced into production more than 200 rationalization proposals aimed at improving the quality and increasing the volume of output, improving working conditions, and technical safety. As a result, the capacity of the oil unit was increased by 1.5 times, the processing depth reached 75 percent. The atmospheric vacuum unit, designed to process 1 million tons of oil per year, was brought to the processing level of 1.5 million tons due to the improvement of the technology, while the number of workers was halved.
The installation of the senior operator M.G. Khafizov was a forge of personnel for other installations, workshops and factory management. It was attended by practitioners and specialists from developing countries.
Repeatedly in terms of quality of products, the plant installation team took first place in the country.
For outstanding success in the early fulfillment of planned tasks and socialist obligations in 1976, by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 13, 1977, M. G. Khafizov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
In 1980-1999, Midhat Gabdraupovich worked as the head of the oil unit of the Novo-Ufa oil refinery.
Currently lives in Ufa.
