Located in the village of Pichugino , Krivorozhsky district , Dnepropetrovsk region between the stations Krivoy Rog-Sortirovochny (7 km) and Privorot (8 km). The closest stopping point is the 79 km (2 km) platform .
The station received its name from the name of the local landowner Elizaveta Gavrilovna Pichugina on whose lands the station was built.
According to the data for 1900, the station’s cargo flow reached 500 thousand pounds, mainly grain [3] . At the station there were ore warehouses of the landowner Kolachevsky . The station was electrified in 1959-1960, along with the electrification of the entire line of Verkhovtsev- Dolgintsevo- Chervonnoye of the then Stalin Railway.
Electric trains stop at the station with the Dnepropetrovsk-Krivoy Rog connection [4] .
