“Young Dragons” ( Chinese 鐵漢 The , The Young Dragons , lit. Tenderness of a steel man ) is a Hong Kong -based martial arts film directed by John Wu . The film was first released in Japan on July 25, 1974, and the premiere in Hong Kong took place a year later, although filming was completed back in 1973 [2] [3] . Content
Story
Immediately after the Chinese revolution, a gang of bandits preys on the inhabitants of the Chinese city. Lun E, the leader of the gang, kills the detective. The daughter of the murdered woman, Ye Feng, swears that she will avenge her father. A tramp named Jian arrives in the city to confront the bandits. One day, Fan Ming, fiancé Ye Feng, accidentally encounters Jiang, after which they become friends. Meanwhile, Lun Ye attacks Fan Ming and pushes him from a cliff into the sea. Jian sends Ye Feng for safety to a brothel, where a prostitute Yan Zhihong looks after her. Feng and Zhihong go to Lun Ye. Ye Feng attacks the moon with a knife, but fails, after which he kills both girls. Their deaths prompt Jiang to take immediate action. He intends to end once and for all with Moon E and his gang.
