Emblem Description

"In a silver field above a lowered golden narrow cross with an indirect upper and lower shoulder, filled with azure in the lower right corner and at the extremity - a rider in purple armor and with the same feathers on his helmet, galloping on a purple horse and carrying a golden saber ."

The coat of arms of the Gultyaev volost, in accordance with the Methodological Recommendations for the development and use of official symbols of municipalities (Section 2, Chapter VIII, paragraphs 45-46), approved by the Heraldic Assembly under the President of the Russian Federation on June 28, 2006, can be reproduced with a status crown established sample.

Justification of Symbols

In January 2006, on the territory of the Gultyaevskaya, Shalakhovskaya and part of the New Volosts, a municipal formation was created in the rural settlement “Gultyaevskaya Volost”.

On the territory of the rural settlement live the descendants of the armored boyars , the medieval military estate.

In 1867, the first ethnographic exhibition of the peoples of Russia was held in Moscow, where the costumes of the suitable and armored boyars of the Neporotovskaya, Ezereyskaya and Gultyaevskaya volosts (at that time part of this province) presented from the Vitebsk province aroused great interest. And now, sometimes the residents of the Gultyaev volost are called "crimson-shell armor" for the crimson (crimson) color of historical costumes.

All this is reflected in the coat of arms of the modern Gultyaevsky volost:

- a horseman riding a horse with a raised sword - a symbol of the defense of the Russian lands from the western conquerors;
- the purple color of a horseman with a horse is a symbol of the memory of crimson-armored boyars who lived on these lands.

The crossroads of two golden stripes are the figure of the coat of arms of the Pustoshkinsky district , which includes the volost, which symbolically emphasizes the unity of the municipalities, their close, friendly ties.

Silver is a symbol of purity, openness, divine wisdom, reconciliation

Gold is a symbol of the highest value, greatness, wealth, and harvest.

Azure is not only a symbol of numerous lakes and rivers located on the territory of the volost, but also a symbol of elevated aspirations, sincerity, devotion, rebirth.

Purple is a symbol of power, glory, honor, noble origin, antiquity.

The emblem was developed with the assistance of the Union of Heraldists of Russia .

The authors of the coat of arms: the idea of the coat of arms - Alexei Korol ( Pustoshka ), Konstantin Mochenov (Khimki), Mikhail Medvedev (St. Petersburg); artist and computer design - Oksana Afanasyeva (Moscow); justification of symbolism - Vyacheslav Mishin (Khimki).
