The Frederic Esser Nemmers Prize in Mathematics Prize is one of the largest mathematics achievements in the United States.
The award was created by the testament of the brothers Frederick and Erwin Nemmers, who left $ 14 million to Northwestern University for the creation of four professorships at the Kellogg School of Management at the University, and for the payment of prizes in mathematics and economics, which could become in the future prestigious, like the Nobel Prize.
Since 2012, the premium is 200 thousand US dollars. The prize winner should spend 10 weeks at Northwestern University.
