Biography
Iya Leonidovna Mayak was born on September 27, 1922 in Moscow . Her mother, Vera Vladimirovna Maya (real name is Bogolyubova [ [1] ], 1891-1974), was a famous dancer, creator and director of the Dance Theater, as well as the head of the plastic class at the A.V. Lunacharsky College (future GITIS ). In her youth, Mayak was preparing to become a ballerina, but already in the tenth grade she decided to become a historian. In 1940 , after graduation, Lighthouse entered MIFLI .
In 1941 , at the height of World War II , the house where the Mayak family lived was destroyed by bombing, and the family was evacuated to Vladimir . In the process of learning, Ilya Leonidovna a break.

In 1961, having received an invitation to the history department of Moscow State University, Mayak returned there as an assistant teacher.
In 1954, Lighthouse defended her thesis.
In the second half of the 1960s, Mayak served as deputy dean of the faculty for evening and correspondence studies. In 1966, she was awarded the academic title of assistant professor.
In 1983, Lighthouse defended her doctoral dissertation.
The lighthouse was fluent in German , Italian , French . She had a son.
