Biography
A Ukrainian, from a family of workers, a member of the RCP (b) since 1917 , in the RKKF since November 1917 . Member of the Civil War , participated in the battles near Kiev and as part of the White Sea military flotilla . In 1940, head of the department of military shipbuilding at the Naval Academy. During the Great Patriotic War [1] from August 1943 he was the head of the reception of imported goods under the commander of the Baltic Fleet. Accepted allied transports, ensured the safety of cargo, and was engaged in dispatching as directed to the army and navy . Under his direct supervision, about 13,000 tons of cargo were unloaded and more than 600 wagons were dispatched according to the orders of the People’s Commissariat of the Navy.
