Career
E. A. Yanes was born in the village of Pashkovskaya , now a microdistrict of the city of Krasnodar. He trained with VF Dubko .
In 1975 he became a candidate for the USSR national team.
In the championship in 1976, in a pair with another athlete from the village of Pashkovskaya (now the district of Krasnodar ) Yevgeny Yakovenko brought the USSR the first gold medal in this sport. In the individual exercises divided (the only case in the world championships) gold with the Frenchman Richard Tison.
At the next world championships, he won gold again in an individual match and in synchronized jumps (paired with Yakovenko ).
He became the champion of the USSR ten times and took the USSR Cup 13 times.
After finishing his career, he switched to coaching. He is the senior trainer in trampoline SCWO .
