Jamil ibn 'Abdullah ibn Mu'ammar al-'Uzri ( Arabic: جميل بن عبد الله بن معمر العذري ; born unknown - died around 701 ) - 7th-century Arab poet. Known as Jamil ibn Mu'ammar ( Arabic. جميل بن معمر ) and Jamil Busayna ( Arabic. جميل بثينة ).

The exact date of birth of Jamil ibn Mu'ammar is unknown, but it is known that he lived in the 7th century during the reign of the Umayyad dynasty. He came from the Banu 'Uzra tribe, which was known for its tradition of love poetry [2] . Jamil died in about 701 [3] .
Jamil is the author of lyric poems in which he sang his beloved Busain. The touching love story of Jamil and Busyna was transmitted orally until the 7th – 9th centuries. and overgrown with romantic details. Poems about one of the famous couples of Bedouin Arabia invariably were part of numerous poetic anthologies, including the anthology of Abul al-Faraj al-Isfahani “Kitab al-agani”. Many of Jamil Ibn Muammar’s poems have become popular songs [3] .
