(2997) Cabrera ( Spanish Cabrera ) - a typical asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on June 17, 1974 in the observatory to them. Felix Aguilar and named after the Argentine astronomer Laurentino Cabrera (Laurentino Ascencio Cabrera) [1] .
