Born in Vitebsk on August 8, 1963. Graduated from BGAFK in 1999.

The athlete’s coach was Valery Bunin [1] .

Achievements and rewards

  • Silver medalist of the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul in the triple jump (17.52m)
  • World Universiade Champion 1989
  • 1990 European Championship (indoor).
  • 1991 World Champion (indoor).
  • The 100th athlete in history to jump 17 meters.
  • The best personal result - a triple jump - 17m 69 (at the stadium), 17m 31cm (indoors); length - 7.97.
