Lough Moy ( Gaelic. Loch A'Mhoigh , “plain lake”) is a freshwater lake near Moi village in the Highlands of Scotland, nine miles south-east of the city of Inverness . The residence of the leaders of the clan Macintosh has long been located in the vicinity of the lake and its name was the battle cry of the clan.
