History
The village of Sergeevskoye was founded in 1909 in the Kok-Moinak gorge. In 1913, there were 211 courtyards, there was a prayer house, a parish school, a mill, and 9 commercial establishments. The village was part of the Pavlovsky volost of the Otar parish of the Vernensky district of the Semirechensk region [3] .
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 1091 people (548 men and 543 women) [4] . According to the 2009 census , 1204 people lived in the village (613 men and 591 women) [4] .
